NKHAMENYA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

Nkhamenya Community Hospital is a typical African rural mission hospital in Kasungu District, south central Malawi. It has a catchment area of approximately 35,000 people and cares for patients of all faiths or none.
It runs Outreach Clinics in the surrounding villages providing vaccinations, antenatal checks, monitoring children under 5 yrs and HIV/AIDS testing and counselling.

MTENDERE HEALTH CENTRE

Mtendere Health Centre is also a mission hospital in a more remote location in the district of Dedza. It has a larger catchment area of 48,000 but fewer facilities.
It also runs Outreach Clinics offering similar care for the many villagers in the surrounding countryside and is just beginning the vital new AIDS /HIV programme.
